The buzz surrounding the sequel to the 2012 hit, Cocktail, is palpable, especially with its dynamic trio: Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna.
The cast has just completed their shooting in Italy, with reports indicating they had a fantastic time during the process.
Rashmika expressed her enthusiasm for working alongside Kriti and Shahid, sharing, “I adore Kriti and Shahid. We make a great team. Collaborating with Homi sir (Homi Adajania) is also wonderful. I'm thrilled to work with such a talented group. I can’t wait to head back to Delhi and continue filming.”
She also mentioned how much she relished her time on set, wishing for the audience to connect with that same energy once the film is released. “Every scene with Kriti or Shahid is sheer joy for me. I hope when the film comes out, you all feel that joy too,” she said with enthusiasm.
Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 aims to capture the essence of the beloved original film from 2012, which featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. The first movie was praised for its fresh approach to love, friendship, and complex relationships.
On another note, Rashmika is enjoying the success of her latest film, Thamma. This project, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has successfully crossed the Rs 50 crore milestone at the box office. Produced by Maddock Films, Thamma is the fifth project in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, following Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya.
The plot of Thamma revolves around Ayushmann’s character, who becomes a vampire and falls for Rashmika’s character, crafting a “bloody love story” with captivating twists and humor.
With the excitement building for Cocktail 2 and the success of her recent project, viewers are eagerly anticipating the on-screen chemistry and charm between Rashmika, Kriti, and Shahid.
