Dubai Chambers and e& UAE Collaborate to Enhance SME Digital Capabilities

Post by : Bianca Haleem

This week, a significant leap was made in Dubai’s journey towards a digitally-advanced business ecosystem, as Dubai Chambers entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with e& UAE, the telecommunications subsidiary of the renowned technology group e&. This agreement is set to enhance cooperation in providing tailored telecom solutions specifically for small and medium enterprises and startups throughout the emirate.

The collaboration entails a comprehensive approach where both organisations will ensure that small businesses receive efficient access to telecom services, along with bespoke packages that cater to the everyday demands of new ventures. The primary objective is to enhance connectivity, facilitate smoother digital transitions, and assist entrepreneurs in better managing their ventures.

This MoU is in perfect alignment with Dubai’s ambitious economic goals, particularly the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to double the economy by 2033. By fortifying the digital framework and increasing the accessibility of advanced communication tools, this initiative is poised to foster a more dynamic and competitive private sector.

For SMEs and startups, this partnership offers tangible benefits: enhanced digital access, greater operational resilience, and more opportunities to thrive within Dubai’s rapidly changing commercial landscape. This initiative also strengthens the city’s commitment to establishing itself as a leading global centre for trade, innovation, and technology-driven advancement.
