PM Modi's Compassionate Visit to LNJP Hospital Post Red Fort Blast

Post by : Raina Al-Fahim

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a significant visit to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital in New Delhi on Wednesday, attending to victims of the tragic Red Fort blast. Having just returned from a two-day state visit to Bhutan, he headed directly to the hospital, emphasizing the seriousness of this national incident that resulted in 10 fatalities and over 20 injuries.

The Prime Minister took the time to personally engage with each patient, offering words of comfort and a heartfelt wish for their swift recovery. As he spoke with hospital staff and doctors, he sought updates on the patients' conditions and their medical needs.

The attack at the historic Red Fort, a key tourist attraction in Delhi, has triggered a rapid response from the authorities. Modi made it clear that those responsible for the heinous act would be held accountable, pledging that justice would be served without delay.

Due to security concerns, Modi accessed the LNJP Hospital via a lesser-known entrance, steering clear of the main entry and the media, which indicates the sensitivity surrounding his visit.

This engagement highlights the government's dedication to aiding the Red Fort blast victims and reinforcing national security protocols while ensuring accountability for such violent incidents. Investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend those behind the attack.
