UAE and Bahrain Leaders Forge Cultural Bonds at ICOM Dubai 2025

A notable cultural exchange unfolded in Dubai as Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, engaged with His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities. This meeting took place during the 27th General Conference of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Dubai 2025), which is held under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The significance of this year's ICOM gathering cannot be overstated, as it represents a historic first for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
