Premiered on December 5, the film has conquered cinema halls in India and abroad, officially achieving the magnificent feat of surpassing Rs 1000 crore, solidifying its status as the highest-grossing Bollywood entry of the year.
The film’s stellar performance can be attributed to its remarkable consistency. As it entered its third week—when many blockbuster films typically experience a decline—Dhurandhar maintained full theaters and impressive daily earnings. The festive period around Christmas proved particularly beneficial, with the film raking in a whopping Rs 28.60 crore on the holiday, reflecting strong audience appreciation and repeat viewership.

In contrast, its Christmas season rival, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, featuring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, started with a humble Rs 7.25 crore net on its opening day in India. The disparity in their box office trajectories underscores Dhurandhar’s commanding presence.
