Digital Dubai and the Emirates Group have signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen Dubai's digital transformation efforts by expanding the use of Digital Dubai's digital services and platforms across the Emirates Group.
The agreement will allow the Emirates Group to benefit from Digital Dubai's digital ecosystem, helping improve employee experience, increase operational efficiency, strengthen digital readiness, and encourage the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best practices.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri, Chief Executive of Digital Dubai Government Establishment, and Amira Al Awadhi, Senior Vice President Human Resources – Operations and Systems at Emirates.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, and His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai.
Under the agreement, the Emirates Group will gain access to a range of Digital Dubai's digital services, digital enablement platforms, and data and statistics services.
The partnership also focuses on improving systems integration, enabling secure data exchange, expanding the use of shared digital platforms, and creating a more connected and flexible digital environment across the organisation.
His Excellency Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri said the agreement reflects Dubai's vision of creating an integrated digital ecosystem through strong cooperation between the government and private sectors.
He said accelerating digital transformation and achieving sustainable results requires organisations to combine their expertise, digital capabilities, and shared resources while developing partnerships that create long-term value for all stakeholders.

Al Hemeiri added that the partnership will help expand the adoption of Digital Dubai's advanced digital platforms, products, and capabilities to support the Emirates Group in improving services, increasing operational efficiency, and speeding up the use of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI).
He further said the agreement represents a model of collaboration that benefits both organisations while encouraging wider adoption of shared digital platforms. According to him, this approach strengthens Dubai's efforts to build a competitive digital economy, support innovation, and reinforce the emirate's position as a global leader in digital transformation and the digital economy.
Oliver Grohmann, Emirates Group's Executive Vice President Human Resources, said the company is pleased to work with Digital Dubai on an initiative designed to improve the employee experience across the Emirates Group.
He said the collaboration will accelerate internal processes, enable real-time data processing, and reduce operational barriers, allowing employees to focus on more important tasks.
Grohmann added that the partnership is intended to deliver more than greater convenience and efficiency. He said Dubai is developing integrated digital foundations that improve the way people live and businesses operate, and Emirates is pleased to contribute to a more connected future for its workforce, the city, and the organisations operating within it.
The agreement establishes a comprehensive framework for collaboration based on Digital Dubai's digital ecosystem. It includes high service standards, advanced support and response systems, and strong information security measures that follow international best practices.
The partnership also supports Dubai's strategy of increasing the adoption of shared government platforms and improving digital integration between organisations. These efforts aim to build a more connected and sustainable digital ecosystem while strengthening the competitiveness of Dubai's digital economy.
