The Emirates Group has joined hands with the Federal Youth Authority by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support and develop young Emiratis. This partnership aims to build a strong community of youth within the Emirates Group and inspire them to become future leaders in the aviation and travel industries.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and His Excellency Dr. Sultan Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs. The MoU was signed by Yousuf Bin Lahej Al Falasi, Vice President of Emiratization and Government Partnerships at the Emirates Group, and Khalid Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority.
Supporting Youth for a Better Future
Sheikh Ahmed highlighted how important young people are to the Emirates Group. He said that the youth bring fresh ideas and great energy, and can lead positive change. This partnership shows the Emirates Group’s commitment to supporting the UAE’s National Youth Agenda 2031 by giving young people the tools and opportunities to grow. He added, “Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders, and we will keep investing in them so they can help the nation succeed in the future.”
Opening Doors for Emirati Talent
Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi shared that the UAE’s leadership strongly believes in the power of youth. He said this MoU will help young Emiratis find careers in aviation by giving them the right opportunities and training. The goal is to prepare them to lead future national projects and contribute to the UAE’s global standing.
New Programs and Opportunities
With this agreement, both organisations will work together on various activities like training sessions, workshops, and seminars tailored for Emirati youth. These programs will help attract and retain talented young people within different parts of the Emirates Group.
Young Emiratis will also get access to national-level projects and activities organised by the Federal Youth Authority, helping them build knowledge, skills, and professional connections.
This strategic partnership was driven by the Emirates Group Youth Council, which consists of eleven young members. They have been actively involved in national youth initiatives, such as the Youth Summit, Aviation Future Week 2024, and more. The Youth Council was recently recognised as one of the top three private sector youth councils in the UAE during the Youth Councils Forum 2025 held at Expo City Dubai.
