Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh used a recent Brisbane concert clip on Instagram to restate his message of compassion and togetherness, choosing to spotlight unity despite recent tensions.
In the footage, Diljit asked his audience to prioritise love. “People should always talk about love. For me, the earth is one,” he said, referencing the Sikh concept of 'Ik Onkar' to stress the unity of all life.
He reflected on life's cycle, saying he feels rooted in the earth and will one day return to it, which informs his desire for goodwill toward everyone—even critics and online detractors—prompting warm applause from the crowd.
Talking about faith and intent, Diljit questioned the need for excessive manifestation, suggesting instead that quiet wishes held in the heart are enough and that God will bring them to fruition.
The video also shows several poignant moments from the event, including energetic performances, close interactions with fans, and pauses where the artist shared messages of hope.
His post followed reports that he had received a warning from the US-based pro-Khalistan group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), headed by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, concerning his upcoming Australian concert on November 1.
The dispute traces back to Diljit’s appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, where he touched Amitabh Bachchan’s feet as a mark of respect. SFJ’s leader criticised the gesture, saying it disrespected victims and families affected by the 1984 anti-Sikh violence.
Rather than engage directly with the group’s accusations, Diljit has maintained a calm stance, reinforcing themes of respect and universal brotherhood—an approach that many fans have applauded on social platforms.
The Brisbane clip has since circulated widely online, drawing supportive comments from followers who commended Diljit for using his platform to promote harmony over hostility.
