Hatta Festival 2025: A Showcase of Culture and Family Activities

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Hatta buzzes with excitement as the 2025 edition of the Hatta Festival unfolds, offering a delightful blend of cultural and recreational activities for families and visitors alike. Until December 28, the event takes place along the picturesque three-hectare Leem Lake waterfront, beautifully juxtaposed with the region’s stunning mountains.

This festival is part of the #DubaiDestinations initiative, shining a spotlight on Hatta’s rich natural and cultural legacy while creating a fun-filled atmosphere for attendees. This year, organizers emphasize inclusivity and diversity, presenting a variety of events designed to entertain, educate, and inspire all.

Visitors can engage in over 150 workshops ranging from hands-on arts and crafts to photography sessions, or delve into Hatta's traditional lifestyle with farm tours and outdoor cooking activities. A new addition is a mini zoo that showcases ponies, gazelles, parrots, goats, and rabbits, providing a safe and interactive experience for children to get close to friendly creatures.

Entertainment zones are a major draw, boasting giant board games, a Winter Games Zone with bungee jumping, bumper cars, and a challenging human crane competition, along with a Hatta-themed Escape Room that integrates teamwork and local culture. When night falls, visitors can admire glowing art installations on Leem Lake's bridges, creating a magical ambiance that highlights the area's natural beauty.

Under the Proudly from Dubai initiative, local entrepreneurs shine with 30 showcased ventures—half from Hatta—offering delectable foods, desserts, and unique products. The festival also includes a Young Entrepreneurs Competition to nurture homegrown talent and promote sustainable growth in the region.

The Brand Dubai Store and the Camelicious-sponsored Majlis enhance the experience with souvenirs and a traditional Emirati setting where guests can unwind and connect. Additionally, over 100 live shows and TV broadcasts by Dubai Media's Sama Dubai TV on the Main Stage keep an audience of 500 entertained, merging cultural showcases with family-friendly fun.

Combining adventure, culture, and community spirit, Hatta Festival 2025 positions Hatta as a premier destination for families and tourists in search of memorable outdoor experiences.
