du Announces 26% Profit Increase as Customer Numbers Reach New Records

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC (du) has delivered robust quarterly results, showcasing remarkable revenue and profit growth, alongside a record-setting customer base across all service areas.

The telecommunications company's revenue for Q3 2025 increased by 7.9% year-over-year, reaching AED3.87 billion, driven by persistent demand in mobile services, fixed-line connections, and ICT offerings. EBITDA for the quarter was AED1.85 billion, resulting in a strong 47.8% margin, while normalized net profit rose sharply by 25.8% to AED732 million—indicative of effective management and budget discipline.

du's customer base has seen substantial growth, with mobile subscribers increasing by 10.3% to 9.2 million, thanks to good performance in both prepaid and postpaid categories. The fixed-line segment also demonstrated positive trends, growing its clientele by 9.7% to 718,000, spurred by a greater preference for home wireless and fiber broadband offerings throughout the UAE.

Operating free cash flow surged 11% to AED1.36 billion, showcasing the company's strong liquidity. Capital expenditures for the quarter reached AED492 million, maintaining a ratio of 12.7% as du continued its investment into modernizing networks and enhancing digital infrastructure.

Additionally, du highlighted the successful execution of its secondary public offering earlier in the year, which lifted its free float to 27.7%, enhancing market liquidity and diversifying its investor pool—a sign of growing trust in du's forward-looking strategies.

With consistent outcomes observed over the previous three quarters, du reaffirmed its full-year forecast for 2025, anticipating annual revenue growth between 6% and 8% and sustaining an EBITDA margin of 45% to 47%.

In terms of future strategy, du intends to leverage its strong core connectivity services while also venturing into emerging fields like artificial intelligence and digital innovation. Recent initiatives, such as the unveiling of the AI Park ecosystem and establishing the AI supercluster, are pivotal steps towards reinforcing the UAE's ambitions in digital and AI leadership.
