In a groundbreaking move, the Dubai Press Club, alongside the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has unveiled a new chapter of the Dubai Content Creators Programme, designed to nurture cultural and artistic digital expressions that encapsulate Dubai's essence and heritage.
This initiative is part of Dubai’s commitment to uplifting nascent media talent and fortifying the burgeoning creative sector. It equips content creators with enhanced storytelling techniques, digital production insights, and strategies for audience engagement, all rooted in contemporary media trends and global standards.
Registration for the programme is now open via the Dubai Press Club, aiming to empower creators to craft compelling cultural narratives that showcase Dubai’s vibrant cultural heritage and creative milestones.
Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, who serves as Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, spoke highly of the collaboration with Dubai Culture, emphasizing the necessity of nurturing creators to share Dubai's narrative on an international scale.
She noted that the Dubai Content Creators Programme serves as a vital medium for identifying and cultivating creative talents capable of generating influential and meaningful content that mirrors Dubai’s aspirations and cultural fabric.
Her Excellency Hala Badri, Director General of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, remarked that the programme not only supports creativity in various cultural sectors but also motivates creators to transform their visions into impactful initiatives that enrich Dubai’s creative landscape.
She emphasized the significance of cultural content generation as a fundamental element of the creative economy, pivotal in advancing Dubai's innovative future. The initiative promises to empower creators to weave inspiring narratives focused on Dubai’s rich history, traditions, and successes through contemporary digital mediums.
The programme is scheduled to run from June 8 to June 19, 2026, featuring 40 hours of dedicated workshops and interactive sessions. Participants will gain expertise in content development for prominent digital platforms, visual storytelling, audience engagement tactics, and employing cutting-edge technologies, such as AI-driven content tools.
Workshops will be conducted in partnership with prominent digital platforms and seasoned industry professionals.
Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, highlighted that this partnership with Dubai Culture for the third iteration of the programme will empower attendees to leverage AI in content creation while honing their creative and professional capabilities through hands-on training.
This latest installment of the Dubai Content Creators Programme builds on the achievements of prior editions, with the initial programme focusing on economic content in association with the UAE Ministry of Economy, followed by a second phase spotlighting health and scientific discourse in collaboration with Dubai Health.
