Dubai is rapidly establishing itself as a formidable force in digital innovation globally. The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has announced that it has assisted 582 digital startups in both embarking on and expanding their operations during the initial nine months of 2025 — a significant achievement that underscores the emirate's expanding reputation as a center for technology and entrepreneurship.
Artificial intelligence emerged as a dominant domain, representing 21% of all supported startups. The collective sectors of HealthTech, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and FinTech comprised 17%, signifying Dubai's commitment to sectors that are shaping the future. Intriguingly, 70% of the startups supported were international enterprises, indicating the city’s broad allure to investors and innovators worldwide.
A substantial portion of this achievement can be credited to the chamber’s Business in Dubai platform, tailored to assist entrepreneurs at every phase of their business journey. Nearly half (47%) of the startups received support in terms of establishment services, accelerator programs, and incubators. Moreover, 32% benefited from the platform's business support offerings that link companies with partners, investors, and clientele.
Furthermore, the chamber released four comprehensive reports from January to September 2025, including The Entrepreneur’s AI Playbook. This document is aimed at equipping founders with the knowledge to comprehend and integrate AI tools into their business scaling strategies.
Moreover, the chamber has been proactive in its global outreach endeavors. It organized 15 significant events along with 16 international roadshows held in 17 cities, such as London, Singapore, New York, and Berlin. These initiatives fostered collaboration among over 2,140 digital startups, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders, strengthening global ties and highlighting Dubai’s vibrant digital economy.
With these strategic projects, Dubai continues to draw digital entrepreneurs and investors globally, solidifying its status as one of the most exciting startup environments on the international stage.
