Emirates Enhances Baghdad Routes with A350 Aircraft Starting 2026

Emirates Enhances Baghdad Routes with A350 Aircraft Starting 2026

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Commencing on 1 January 2026, Emirates, recognized as the largest global airline, will deploy its cutting-edge Airbus A350 on every weekly flight to Baghdad, which totals seven. This upgrade transitions from the current Boeing 777, previously servicing the route four times weekly.

This A350 configuration promises to deliver a consistently exceptional travel experience, offering three class options: 32 lie-flat Business Class seats arranged 1-2-1, 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 layout, and 259 Economy Class seats organized in a 3-3-3 format. Passenger benefits include access to Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment, wider aisles, reduced cabin noise, and advanced lighting aimed at mitigating jet lag.

In August 2025, Emirates first introduced the A350 on select flights to Baghdad, and this broadened schedule illustrates the airline's dedication to enhancing travel comfort in Iraq and the surrounding region.

With an emphasis on cutting-edge amenities and passenger well-being, the complete integration of the A350 fleet ensures that travelers heading to Baghdad will experience the latest innovations from Emirates. Tickets are available through emirates.com, the Emirates App, retail outlets, contact centers, or travel agencies.
