Emmanuelle “Emman” Atienza, a vibrant 19-year-old digital creator known for her advocacy in fashion, art, and mental health, has sadly passed away, as confirmed by her family on Friday, October 24.
The daughter of TV host Kim Atienza and president of the Philippine Eagle Foundation, Felicia Hung-Atienza, Emman was also the granddaughter of former Manila mayor Lito Atienza.
In an emotional tribute, Felicia shared the family's sorrow over the “unexpected passing” of her beloved daughter, whom she described as someone who brought “joy, laughter, and love” into their lives.
Felicia noted, “Emman had a unique ability to make people feel validated and understood. Her bravery in discussing mental health inspired many to embrace their struggles openly.”
Despite her acclaim, Emman faced online challenges, including criticism stemming from a viral video featuring a restaurant bill exceeding ₱130,000, which she later explained was a joke for a friend's birthday celebration.
Felicia concluded her heartfelt message by encouraging others to honor Emman’s legacy through acts of empathy, courage, and kindness in everyday situations.
