ENOC and flydubai Sign Pact to Propel Aviation Expansion

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Dubai's aviation sector is set for an exciting advancement as the ENOC Group, a prominent player in integrated energy solutions, inks a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with flydubai, the Dubai-based airline. This agreement focuses on strengthening their long-standing aviation fuel supply collaboration, paving the way for expanded business opportunities.

The aviation market in the Middle East and Africa is projected to grow from US$34.4 billion in 2025 to US$44.7 billion by 2030, reflecting an increased need for dependable fuel supply services. ENOC Aviation, the firm's specialized department, will be key in facilitating flydubai's swift growth aspirations.

Currently, flydubai operates a fleet of modern Boeing 737 aircraft, covering over 135 destinations across 57 nations. The airline plans to scale its fleet to exceed 95 aircraft by the end of 2025, with orders for more than 120 Boeing 737 MAX jets and 30 Boeing 787s set for delivery in the coming decade. The MoU guarantees ENOC Aviation will effectively meet the airline's fueling requirements as it expands its global reach.

This year, flydubai has launched 12 new destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, providing travelers with enhanced connectivity and convenient travel alternatives.

The agreement encompasses comprehensive fueling services, utilizing ENOC Aviation's vast supply chain network that services over 300 airports in 28 countries and fuels more than 300 aircraft daily with upwards of 3 million US gallons of jet fuel. Additionally, the partnership includes collaborative supply chain evaluations and operational support to ensure smooth flight operations at Dubai's international aviation hub.

With a 15-year-long partnership, ENOC Aviation's support will continue to be crucial for flydubai's growth, helping the airline maintain efficiency and reliability as it enhances its global presence.
