Dubai’s role as a hub for trade, energy, and logistics has been further strengthened with a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between ENOC Group, DP World, and the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC). The signing took place during the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The agreement sets the stage for new collaborations across energy, logistics, infrastructure, and related industrial sectors.
Purpose of the Partnership
The newly signed agreement is not just a short-term step but the beginning of a long-term strategic collaboration. It provides a framework for the three leading entities to work together on projects that will strengthen Dubai’s economy. By combining their expertise, the organizations aim to promote energy diversification, expand infrastructure, and drive sustainable growth that aligns with Dubai’s economic vision.
Presence of Senior Leaders
The MoU was signed in the presence of high-ranking officials, including H.E. Nasser Abdulla Al Neyadi, CEO of PCFC and Group Chief Security Officer at DP World, and Hussain Sultan Lootah, Acting Group CEO of ENOC. Other senior leaders from the three organizations also attended, highlighting the significance of this strategic move. Their presence underlined the importance of the partnership in advancing Dubai’s leadership in trade and energy.
Combining Strengths of Three Leaders
The alliance between ENOC, DP World, and PCFC creates a powerful synergy. ENOC brings deep expertise in the energy value chain, DP World contributes its global logistics network, and PCFC adds regulatory and infrastructure strength. Together, these strengths will help drive innovation, improve competitiveness, and create long-term value for Dubai and the wider region.
Statement from PCFC and DP World
H.E. Nasser Abdulla Al Neyadi, CEO of PCFC and Group Chief Security Officer at DP World, said that the collaboration reflects Dubai’s vision to become a global hub for trade, energy, and logistics. He explained that the partnership will allow greater integration between economic and logistics systems, open new opportunities for investment, and support sustainability goals. He emphasized that this alliance aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double the size of Dubai’s economy in the coming years.
ENOC’s Perspective on the MoU
Hussain Sultan Lootah, Acting Group CEO of ENOC, also expressed strong confidence in the partnership. He said that working with DP World and PCFC reinforces ENOC’s commitment to operational excellence, energy resilience, and sustainable growth. He explained that exploring opportunities across the energy and logistics sectors will help Dubai lead as a hub for innovation, integration, and sustainable development on the global stage.
Supporting Dubai’s Economic Vision
This MoU reflects Dubai’s broader goal to encourage partnerships that connect public and private sectors while also opening doors for global collaborations. The agreement highlights the emirate’s focus on economic diversification, infrastructure advancement, and energy security. By fostering such partnerships, Dubai ensures its continued growth as a forward-looking and globally competitive economy.
Driving Growth Beyond Borders
The collaboration is not limited to the UAE but also aims to explore opportunities internationally. The three partners plan to work on projects that not only benefit Dubai’s economy but also strengthen its position as a global player in energy and logistics. Their combined influence will help unlock new markets, create new investment opportunities, and support global supply chains.
Focus on Sustainability and Innovation
One of the key pillars of this strategic agreement is sustainability. The parties have committed to exploring innovative ways of managing energy and logistics while ensuring environmental responsibility. This focus aligns with global trends and supports Dubai’s efforts to achieve sustainable development while maintaining high competitiveness.
The signing of this MoU at WETEX marks a significant step for Dubai.
