The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the premier global authority in motor sport and mobility organizations, has revealed its most robust operating financial outcome in the last ten years.
According to the financial report for FY2025, the FIA announced an operating profit of €6.7 million, which indicates a remarkable 43% upsurge from the previous year. This performance is a notable turnaround from the €24 million operating deficit registered in 2021.
Additionally, the FIA highlighted an impressive operating revenue of €191.7 million, showing a 75% rise since FY2021.

These FY2025 results signify an extension of the federation's return to profitability established in FY2024, showcasing the financial rebound since Mohammed Ben Sulayem took office as FIA President in 2021.
The FIA attributes its enhanced performance to a more aggressive commercial strategy, improved cost management, and better financial stewardship within the organization.

Reflecting on the results, FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem stated that after six months into his second term, he is dedicated to maintaining a profitable and financially sustainable federation.

I am thrilled that we have achieved the FIA's strongest operating result in a decade, building on significant advancements made since 2021. These investments encompass the development of a new Officials Department aimed at enhancing the training and support for race officials, along with finances allocated to the Safe Mobility 4 All and 4 Life programs.
The federation continues to modernize its governance, communication, and operational frameworks.
FIA Expands Global Footprint with London Office
As part of its progressive transformation, the FIA inaugurated its inaugural office in London during 2025.
This new location is anticipated to strengthen the organization's international presence and enhance its capacity to attract talented individuals while supporting its initiatives across global motor sport and mobility sectors.

At the end of FY2025, the FIA confirmed its robust financial condition.
Cash and cash equivalents accounted for 73% of the federation's balance sheet, which is a 6% increase year-on-year. The fiscal report also indicated an equity ratio of 49% and the absence of any financial liabilities.
According to the FIA, this solid financial footing will facilitate continued investments in its championships, Member Clubs, staff, and long-term strategic goals across both motor sport and mobility.
