Salalah Eye Observation Wheel to Open at Al Hafa Beach on August 15

The Salalah Eye observation wheel, a new tourism attraction in Oman’s Dhofar Governorate, is set to officially open on August 15, 2026, at Al Hafa Beach. The opening will take place during the Khareef Dhofar season.

The observation wheel rises 55 metres above Al Hafa Beach, making it the tallest observation wheel in Oman. The attraction is designed to provide visitors with wide views of the surrounding landscape from above.

Panoramic Views of Dhofar

Visitors riding the Salalah Eye will be able to see the Arabian Sea, coastline and surrounding plains, along with the green landscapes of Dhofar during the Khareef season.

Its location at Al Hafa Beach is expected to give passengers elevated views of the coastal surroundings while experiencing the seasonal greenery associated with Khareef Dhofar.

Salalah Eye Ticket Prices

Ticket prices for the observation wheel have been announced at different rates depending on the type of cabin.

A standard cabin ticket costs OMR 7. Visitors travelling as a group or family can choose a private family cabin for up to six passengers, priced at OMR 28.

An early-booking ticket is available for OMR 5, according to the information announced for the attraction.

The Salalah Eye observation wheel is scheduled to open on August 15, 2026, at Al Hafa Beach in Dhofar Governorate, Oman. Standing 55 metres high, it will be Oman’s tallest observation wheel. A standard cabin ticket is priced at OMR 7, while a private family cabin for up to six passengers will cost OMR 28. An early-booking ticket is available for OMR 5. The attraction will open during the Khareef Dhofar season.
