As per police accounts, the SUV hit seven pedestrians before crashing into a central barrier and flipping over multiple times. The destructive force of the collision left the vehicle almost unrecognizable, claiming several lives instantly. Witnesses recounted a scene of chaos and panic, with bystanders rushing to aid those trapped underneath the wreckage and alerting emergency services.

The SUV's driver, 34-year-old Anshu Gupta from Dayalbagh in Agra, was quickly apprehended by locals and subsequently handed over to law enforcement. He remains in police custody as inquiries continue regarding the crash's contributing factors, including potential negligence or excessive speed.

The fatalities include four males and one female, who were all pronounced dead immediately or shortly after arriving at nearby medical facilities. Two additional victims were treated for severe injuries at local hospitals. Authorities have contacted the victims' families, and the deceased have been sent for post-mortem analysis.

Witnesses provided disturbing narratives of the incident. Pintu, brother of one victim, Babli, recounted, “A high-speed SUV ran over everyone in its path. My sister was among those who died on the spot. It was a scene of horror that will remain with us forever.”

Investigators have confiscated the SUV and are examining surveillance footage from local businesses and residences to piece together the events leading to the incident.
