flydubai to Introduce Daily Flights from Dubai to Bangkok DMK in July 2026

Post by : Bianca Haleem

flydubai has revealed plans to initiate daily services to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok, effective 1 July 2026. Flights will be departing from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

This development marks Bangkok as flydubai’s second destination in Thailand after Krabi. The new route is expected to bolster travel options from Dubai to Thailand while catering to the increasing demand during the summer season.

The airline will operate this new service in collaboration with Emirates, facilitating easier connections to various global destinations through Dubai. This partnership is anticipated to enhance overall connectivity across the airline's extensive network.

As stated by flydubai, this expansion reinforces its presence in Southeast Asia, where the airline also serves other destinations like Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia.

In a statement, flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith emphasized the airline’s dedication to extending its network and providing more travel options. He highlighted that the resurgence in travel demand and tourism is prompting the need for additional capacity and strengthened connections between the UAE and key markets.

Sudhir Sreedharan, senior vice president of commercial operations, remarked on Bangkok's appeal as a destination for both leisure and business travellers. He noted that daily flights will add flexibility, particularly during the bustling summer travel season, with expectations of increased demand and possible future frequency enhancements.

The new route aims to enable seamless travel between Dubai and Bangkok while optimizing connectivity within flydubai’s expanding international network.
