FROMM and SPARK Collaborate to Elevate Design Talent at Milan Design Week

FROMM., a prominent design platform established in both Msheireb (Doha) and Milan (Italy), has officially partnered with Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK) during the Milan Design Week 2026.

This collaboration follows a visit by a SPARK delegation to Milan, where they explored the various initiatives of FROMM. The team had the opportunity to engage with several exhibitions and cultural design projects that bridge communities between Msheireb and Milan.

Under this partnership, FROMM.Lab—the education and talent growth arm of FROMM.—will collaborate with SPARK on a dedicated programme concentrating on furniture design. This initiative is designed to nurture emerging designers, foster creativity, and create new avenues within the regional design landscape.

Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SPARK, noted that this partnership aligns with SPARK's mission to position Sharjah as a leading centre for creative industries and design innovation. He emphasized the importance of BASE39, SPARK’s creative ecosystem, in bridging talent with industry and global networks.

He further remarked that collaboration with FROMM. and FROMM.Lab will facilitate international exposure for regional designers, while simultaneously introducing innovative global concepts back to Sharjah.
