Fujairah, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, attended the graduation ceremony of 112 students from the Applied Technology Schools in Fujairah for the academic year 2024–2025. The event took place at Al Bahar Hotel and Resort and was a significant moment of recognition for students who successfully completed their high school education in the field of applied technology.

The Crown Prince’s presence at the event reflected his strong interest in encouraging education and supporting youth as they prepare for their future careers. It was an emotional and proud moment for the graduating students, their families, and their teachers.

A Strong Message on the Power of Education

In his speech during the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of any nation. He said that education is not just a tool for learning but a foundation for building societies based on knowledge, progress, and innovation.

He described education as an essential investment in the minds of young people, one that leads to national development and long-term success. His Highness stated that countries which focus on educating their youth are better prepared to face global challenges and are more capable of securing their future.

Support from the Ruler of Fujairah

The Crown Prince also highlighted the continuous support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, in developing the education sector in the emirate. He pointed out that the Ruler of Fujairah has always believed in the importance of human capital as the real wealth of the nation.

He noted that under the guidance of the Ruler, Fujairah has seen significant improvements in education infrastructure, curriculum development, and opportunities for students to explore modern fields like applied technology, science, and innovation. These steps reflect the leadership’s vision of empowering the youth to actively contribute to the UAE’s future.

Empowering the Next Generation

During the event, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed congratulated the graduating students and expressed his pride in their academic achievements. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication that each student had shown during their years of study and encouraged them to continue seeking knowledge and new skills.

He reminded them that their graduation is not the end of their journey but the beginning of a new chapter. His message to the students was clear—keep learning, remain curious, and always aim higher. He added that education does not stop after school; it continues through lifelong learning, career development, and personal growth.

Graduates Encouraged to Contribute to National Vision

The Crown Prince urged the students to align their ambitions with the long-term vision of the UAE. He said that each student has a role to play in achieving the country’s goals for economic progress, sustainability, innovation, and social well-being.

He explained that the Applied Technology Schools, which specialize in preparing students for careers in science, technology, and engineering, are a vital part of this vision. These schools help build a workforce that is skilled, adaptable, and ready to lead in a competitive global environment.

He told the graduates that their skills and knowledge are needed to help shape the emirate’s future and contribute to national development in various fields.

A Celebration of Hard Work and Talent

The ceremony at Al Bahar Hotel and Resort was not only a formal graduation but a celebration of talent, effort, and community spirit. Students received their certificates while their families and teachers watched with pride. Many graduates expressed their gratitude to their teachers and school leaders for guiding them through their academic journey.

The event included cultural performances and short films highlighting the students’ achievements, memories, and school life. The occasion was both inspiring and joyful, filled with smiles, applause, and hope for the future.

Commitment to Education as a National Priority

This event also served as a reminder of the UAE’s broader commitment to developing its education sector. From kindergarten to university, the UAE government continues to invest heavily in improving education standards, updating teaching methods, and introducing advanced technologies in classrooms.

The Crown Prince’s participation in the ceremony reflected the country’s belief that education is a top national priority. It showed that the leadership is not only investing in buildings and infrastructure but also in the minds and capabilities of its young citizens.

Future Pathways for Graduates

The 112 students who graduated from the Applied Technology Schools now have several pathways ahead. Some will continue their education at universities and colleges within the UAE or abroad. Others may enter the workforce directly or begin technical training programs that prepare them for specific industries.

With their strong foundation in applied sciences and technology, these students are well-equipped to succeed in areas such as engineering, robotics, cybersecurity, renewable energy, and digital design. Their education has given them the tools to innovate and solve real-world problems, making them valuable contributors to the UAE’s knowledge-based economy.

A Vision Rooted in Learning

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi’s message at the graduation ceremony was clear and inspiring. Education is the foundation of a successful future. By investing in young minds today, the UAE is building the leaders, scientists, engineers, and thinkers of tomorrow.

The Crown Prince’s presence at the ceremony and his powerful speech served to remind everyone—students, teachers, and parents—that the journey of learning is a lifelong process. As these 112 graduates step into the next chapter of their lives, they carry with them the hopes of a nation that believes in their potential and stands behind them every step of the way.
