Gallega Global Logistics has officially launched a state-of-the-art 215,000 sq. ft. multi-user third-party logistics (3PL) facility situated in Jebel Ali Free Zone, which aims to enhance logistics and supply chain functions throughout the UAE and the wider GCC region.
This new hub is tailored to optimize regional distribution capabilities, ensuring quicker and more dependable delivery services for businesses engaging both in local and international markets.
Equipped with advanced multi-user warehousing, the logistics center incorporates integrated management systems along with flexible storage solutions and tech-enabled logistics services. The initiative is projected to create over 200 jobs and provide businesses with improved access to regional and global markets via Jafza's extensive multimodal trade network.
The launch event was graced by the presence of Ghassan Aboud, Abdulla Al Hashmi, along with high-ranking officials and industry leaders from sectors such as automotive, logistics, and banking.
Ghassan Aboud, Chairman of Ghassan Aboud Holding, remarked that the new logistics hub signifies a pivotal point in the collaboration with DP World. He emphasized that the facility illustrates the group's enduring commitment to bolster regional supply chains utilizing superior infrastructure and tech-driven operations.
Abdulla Al Hashmi, Global COO of Parks & Economic Zones at DP World, articulated that this investment is timely, especially as global supply chains encounter mounting geopolitical issues. He stressed the necessity for enhanced flexibility, quicker response times, and assured market access to sustain seamless trade.
This facility is the outcome of a strategic alliance between Ghassan Aboud Holding and DP World GCC, dedicated to offering flexible, tech-oriented logistics solutions that address the burgeoning demand for integrated supply chain services across the region.
Sara Rachid conveyed that the new center signifies a notable advancement in Gallega’s logistics expansion both within the UAE and abroad. She highlighted that the free-zone-based, multi-user facility aims to deliver swifter, more efficient, and flexible logistics services catering to customers in diverse markets.
This logistics hub is anticipated to enhance delivery efficiency, elevate service quality, and reinforce supply chain resilience for businesses operating on both regional and international scales.
