Following music director Ismail Darbar’s recent concerns regarding Gauahar Khan’s decision to pursue her career after marriage and motherhood, the actress took to Instagram to express her heartfelt gratitude towards her husband, Zaid Darbar. In an emotional post, she extolled him for providing “serenity and assurance” in her busy life and commended him for his roles as both a husband and father.
She shared memorable snapshots and videos from their travels, family gatherings, and cherished moments at home, reflecting their deep bond. Gauahar wrote about their shared journey, noting, “A stroll in the park, a walk by the sea, a hike in the mountains—each experience and more that I wished to share with my birthday boy, my Jaanu, @zaid_darbar. Alhamdulillah, it’s precisely what I received.”
In her message, she conveyed appreciation for their two sons, Zehaan and Farwaan, and acknowledged Zaid’s role as a caring partner and father. She remarked, “Thanks for making my family your own, and for being your genuine, loyal, diligent self. May Allah bless every step you take. You have the biggest heart, showing thoughtfulness and care for everyone.”
This public show of appreciation comes after Ismail Darbar expressed his views on Gauahar’s career choices, recognizing her dedication as a mother while also voicing concerns about her professional pursuits. He remarked, “I think Gauahar now represents our family’s honor, so I can’t say she should stop working… That’s not my right; it’s Zaid’s decision.”
Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar were married in December 2020 and welcomed their first child, Zehaan, in May 2023, followed by their second son, Farwaan, on September 1, 2025. Gauahar remains active in the entertainment scene, with recent roles in Lovely Lolla and Fauji 2.
