Cyber Q 2025 Kicks Off in Abu Dhabi with Global Technology Insights

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Cyber Q has made its return to Abu Dhabi today for its second edition, attracting cybersecurity, quantum, and AI experts from over 100 nations at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This three-day event, organized by the UAE Cybersecurity Council, emphasizes the swift technological advancements reshaping global digital security.

This year’s theme, ‘Where Quantum, AI and Cybersecurity Converge,’ highlights discussions on how new technologies are evolving the safeguarding of data, networks, and national infrastructure. Delegates from around the globe are examining the surging impact of quantum computing and the rising complexity of AI-driven cyber threats—two pivotal factors in global security strategies.

Throughout the day, sessions are focusing on advancements in quantum encryption, identification of vulnerabilities within older systems, and the urgent shift towards post-quantum security frameworks. Exhibitors are showcasing state-of-the-art tools, including quantum-resistant communication systems and automated encryption-discovery platforms designed to identify weak or outdated security measures.

In addition to technical presentations, several agreements were formalized between government and private sector players to boost cybersecurity preparedness and foster enhanced collaboration in digital defense. These alliances aim to fortify shared response protocols, enhance information sharing, and nurture research into next-generation security benchmarks.

Workshops and simulations featured at the venue are emphasizing real-world scenarios involving quantum-level threats and AI-driven intrusions, providing participants the chance to evaluate their response strategies. Experts underscored the ever-growing demand for flexible infrastructures that can withstand technologies advancing quicker than conventional security methods.

As Cyber Q unfolds, the emphasis continues to be on equipping digital systems for a future where quantum capabilities and artificial intelligence will play crucial roles in both innovation and security challenges. The event is positioning the UAE as a vital hub for shaping the trajectory of global security.
