In a touching encounter, former Miss Universe and actress Harnaaz Sandhu met Indian women's cricket captain Harmanpreet Kaur during the opening ceremony of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 held in Navi Mumbai.
This meeting took place at the Dr. DY Patil Stadium on January 9 as the WPL's fourth season kicked off with a vibrant opening ceremony, uniting stars from both sports and entertainment.
Harnaaz shared a delightful picture with Harmanpreet on Instagram. Dressed in a stunning golden outfit, Harnaaz stood alongside Harmanpreet, who looked resilient in her Mumbai Indians jersey. As the defending champions, Mumbai Indians look to retain their title this season.
Accompanying the photo, Harnaaz penned an emotional note celebrating their shared journey. “Punjab raised us, India shaped us, and the world & universe became our stage.
