Harshvardhan Rane Considers Role in Dubai Gangster Film Produced by Ekta Kapoor

Post by : Meena Hassan

Harshvardhan Rane’s latest Diwali film, Ek Deewane ki Deewaniyat, is achieving notable success at the box office. As it gains traction, the actor is rumored to be in negotiations for a gangster film produced by Ekta Kapoor, set against the dazzling backdrop of Dubai. Kapoor, known for her keen eye for talent, is reportedly considering Rane for this dynamic and intense project.

Sources indicate that the screenplay combines crime drama, intense action, and complex character developments, making Rane a prime candidate for the lead role. “While many film elements are still being finalized, it’s clear that it’s a modern gangster saga. Rane is recognized for his intense romantic roles, and this film could reveal a new, edgier dimension of his talent,” an insider has shared.

The source also noted that Rane’s character might delve into the harsh realities of a gangster while infusing emotional depth, a hallmark of Ekta Kapoor’s narrative style. If this venture goes forward, it could represent a pivotal point in Rane’s career, positioning him among the bold ensemble of the new acting generation. Fans eagerly await the formal announcement with growing anticipation. Speculations abound about it being comparable to films like Shootout 3 or Once Upon a Time in Mumbai 3, based on scale and narrative style.

Currently, Ekta Kapoor also has Ragini MMS 3 featuring Tamannaah Bhatia in production and is engaged in several other projects, including a mytho-thriller directed by Anil Rahi Barve.
