Henock Inonga Joins Kuwait SC After Leaving Moroccan Club

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Henock Inonga, a professional football player from the Democratic Republic of Congo, has joined a new football club. Just a few weeks ago, he ended his time with a Moroccan football team called AS FAR Rabat. Now, he has signed with Kuwait SC, a team that plays in the top league of Kuwait called the Kuwaiti Premier League. This marks a big change for the player, who has now moved from Africa to the Middle East.

Inonga’s New Journey in Kuwait Football

Kuwait SC officially announced that Henock Inonga has joined their first team. The club said he will start playing for them from the new football season. However, the club did not share how long his contract will be. This means we do not yet know how many years he will stay with the team. But one thing is clear—Kuwait SC is happy to have him as part of their team.

Leaving Morocco Behind

Henock Inonga was playing for AS FAR Rabat, a famous club in Morocco. In early July 2025, he ended his contract with them. It is believed that both sides agreed to end the deal. He became a free agent, meaning he was free to join any club without a transfer fee. Soon after, he found a new opportunity with Kuwait SC. This quick move shows that other clubs were interested in him and that he wanted to continue playing at a high level.

No Transfer Fee Involved

One interesting thing about this deal is that Henock Inonga joined Kuwait SC without any money being paid for a transfer. This is called a "free transfer" in football. It means his new club did not pay his old club any money to sign him. Such deals usually happen when a player’s contract has ended or both sides agree to cancel the contract. For Kuwait SC, this is a smart move as they get a skilled player without spending money on the transfer fee.

Strengthening Kuwait SC’s Team

Kuwait SC said they are trying to make their team stronger by adding good players. Signing Henock Inonga is part of this plan. The club wants to do well in the new season, and for that, they need experienced players who can help the team win games. Henock Inonga is known as a strong defender, which means he plays in the back of the team and tries to stop the other team from scoring goals. His experience and talent will be helpful for Kuwait SC.

Playing with a Fellow Congolese

There is more good news for Henock Inonga. He will not be alone in Kuwait. At Kuwait SC, he will join his countryman Arsène Zola. Arsène Zola is also a football player from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The two players will now be teammates. This can be very helpful for both of them, especially since they are far from home. Playing together in a new country may make it easier for them to adjust and perform better on the field.

A Defender with Experience

Henock Inonga is known for being a strong and smart defender. In football, defenders are very important because they protect their team from letting in goals. Inonga has played for different teams in the past, gaining experience and skills over time. He has played in several African countries before this move to the Middle East. His journey shows his dedication to football and his ability to grow as a player.

Football Careers Can Change Fast

Henock Inonga’s story also shows how quickly a football player’s career can change. Just a few weeks ago, he was in Morocco. Now, he is starting a new journey in Kuwait. Football players often move to new countries and new clubs as they search for better opportunities. These moves help them earn more money, gain more experience, and sometimes play in better leagues. For fans, it’s always exciting to see where their favorite players will go next.

Kuwait SC and Its Football Goals

Kuwait SC is one of the top football clubs in Kuwait. They play in the Kuwaiti Premier League, which is the highest level of football in the country. The team wants to win more matches and maybe even become champions. By bringing in new players like Henock Inonga, the club is working hard to meet those goals. Signing foreign players also helps the club improve the overall level of its squad.

What This Means for Inonga

For Henock Inonga, this is a new chance to show his skills on a different stage. Playing in the Middle East comes with new challenges, like different weather, playing styles, and fans. But it also brings new opportunities, such as better contracts and exposure to bigger clubs. If he plays well for Kuwait SC, he may attract attention from even larger clubs in Asia or other parts of the world.

Fans Welcome the New Signing

Fans of Kuwait SC are happy to see new players joining their team. Many are hopeful that Inonga will help the team perform better in the league. While the club did not share all the details of the deal, supporters are excited to see him play. The presence of two Congolese players—Inonga and Zola—adds to the team’s international flavor and shows that Kuwait SC is serious about building a strong team.

A Common Football Trend

Signing players from other countries has become common in many football clubs. Teams in the Middle East, especially in countries like Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, often sign African and South American players to boost their squad quality. These players bring talent and experience. In return, they get better pay and the chance to compete in a different football environment.

Henock Inonga has started a new chapter in his football career. He left his old team AS FAR in Morocco and quickly found a new home with Kuwait SC. He did not cost anything in transfer fees, which is good for his new club. His move is a good example of how footballers keep moving to find better opportunities. Now, fans and his new teammates are waiting to see how he performs in the coming season.
