Janhvi Kapoor Hails Rashmika’s 'The Girlfriend' as a Must-See

Rashmika Mandanna's new film, The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran, has created quite a buzz since its Netflix debut on December 5. The movie, featuring Dheekshith Shetty and Anu Emmanuel, tells the story of Bhooma as she navigates a challenging love journey and confronts the realities of a toxic relationship.

Recently, Janhvi Kapoor shared her admiration for the film on Instagram, posting an impactful scene of Rashmika adorned in paint. She captioned it, “#TheGirlfriend. Mandatory watch.” In response, Rahul Ravindran expressed his gratitude on X, commenting, “Really kind of her.”

The film, which includes Rahul in a supporting role, has been well-received for its compelling performances and engaging narrative, accumulating ₹29.08 crore globally. Both Rashmika and Janhvi are set to dazzle in their upcoming endeavors, keeping audiences eager for more.
