Kareena Kapoor Celebrates Sharmila Tagore’s Birthday with Emotional Tribute

On December 8, Bollywood luminary Kareena Kapoor Khan delighted her followers with affectionate family snapshots on Instagram, honoring the birthday of her mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore. Known for sharing insights into her life including her children, Taimur and Jeh, as well as her husband, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena’s post radiated familial warmth.

The actress uploaded three sentimental images featuring Sharmila. In the first, Sharmila is shown sharing a lovely moment with Saif Ali Khan, while young Taimur joyfully joins them. Kareena’s caption read, "Happy birthday Amma." The second photo depicted Kareena and Sharmila walking closely, accompanied by the heartfelt remark, "Always trying to follow in your footsteps." The last image seemed to capture a childhood interaction between Taimur and Sharmila, captioned, "All heart, always." Kareena wrapped up the post with a sincere note: "Happy birthday dearest Mother-in-law."

Earlier in the year, Kareena had lauded Sharmila Tagore for her return to Bengali cinema after a hiatus of nearly 14 years. Referring to her as the "original Bengal Tigress," Kareena expressed her eagerness for Sharmila’s film Puratawn, which beautifully portrays the bond between a mother and daughter.
