The Embassy of Kenya in the United Arab Emirates hosted a special reception in Abu Dhabi on Thursday to celebrate Kenya’s Independence Day. The event brought together diplomats, officials, and invited guests to honour the occasion and highlight the growing friendship between the two countries.
Sultan Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organisations, attended the celebration along with several members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE. Their presence reflected the strong and active cooperation between the UAE and Kenya.
Kenya’s Ambassador to the UAE, Kenneth Milimo Nganga, expressed his country’s pride in the close and distinguished relations shared with the UAE. He said Kenya is committed to using all available opportunities to further strengthen these ties in a way that benefits both nations and supports the prosperity and progress of their people.
The reception highlighted the importance of continuous collaboration and the shared goals that both countries aim to achieve in development, cooperation, and international partnership. It also reaffirmed Kenya’s dedication to expanding its bilateral ties with the UAE in the years ahead.
