King Abdulaziz International Airport recorded strong growth in November 2025 compared to the same month in 2024. The total number of passengers reached 4.86 million, showing an 8.6 percent increase, while the total flights rose to 25,900, reflecting a 10.6 percent growth. The airport saw its busiest day on November 20, serving more than 176,800 passengers, a 9.6 percent rise from the peak day in November 2024. The total number of baggage items handled also grew to 5.6 million, marking a 25.4 percent year-on-year increase.
From January to November 30, 2025, King Abdulaziz International Airport handled 48 million passengers, an 8.9 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024. During this period, the number of flights reached 273,700, showing an 8.2 percent growth. These figures highlight the airport’s ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency, provide a smooth travel experience, and expand aviation services.
The airport’s growth supports increased travel options for domestic and international travelers and contributes significantly to the development of tourism and trade in the region. The improvements reflect a commitment to maintaining a modern and efficient hub for both business and leisure travel.
