Krushna Abhishek Reminisces with Amitabh Bachchan on KBC 17 Diwali Special

Post by : Meena Hassan

Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 continues to captivate audiences with its engaging blend of tough quizzes, celebrity appearances, and touching moments. Hosted by the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, the show offers more than just trivia—it's a celebration of nostalgia, joy, and Bollywood history.

In the festive Diwali episode, comedians Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover took center stage, infusing both laughter and entertainment into the atmosphere. One segment prompted Krushna to share a cherished story from the 1998 film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.

He fondly recalled, “This film was monumental for us as ChiChi mama collaborated with you. It was significant for the family. I was on the sets of Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan every day with my uncle, Govinda. I even have a picture with you.”

When he displayed an old photo of himself with Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, Big B instantly recognized him and commented, “You look just as you did back then; you haven't changed at all!”

Krushna added another touching story about Amitabh's son, Abhishek Bachchan. “One of my most memorable experiences was receiving an award for Bol Bachchan. Though I didn’t receive it myself, your son Abhishek called me onto the stage to accept it. My year truly blossomed because of that moment,” he expressed.

Bol Bachchan, which debuted in 2012, starred Abhishek Bachchan as Abbas Ali and Krushna Abhishek as Ravi Shastri, under the direction of Rohit Shetty.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 launched on August 11 and is broadcast from Monday to Friday. Fans can also stream episodes online to catch all the excitement, star moments, and exclusive stories from Bollywood icons.
