Saudi KSrelief Provides Medical Support to Yemeni Women

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a comprehensive health services package on Sunday for women and their families in Sayoun District, Hadramout. The initiative focuses on reintegrating released women and their families into society and providing them with essential medical care and support.

Services Targeting 180 Beneficiaries

The program is designed to benefit 180 individuals. It includes medical consultations, examinations, and the provision of necessary medications. Additionally, KSrelief is organizing awareness sessions to educate the community about the importance of public health and disease prevention.

Focus on Children and Reproductive Health

As part of the initiative, children in the targeted families will receive vaccinations, and all participants will have access to primary health care. Reproductive health services are also offered, ensuring that women receive necessary guidance and care to support their well-being.

Health and Psychological Referrals

KSrelief also provides referrals for specialized health and psychological services. This ensures that those with complex medical or mental health needs can access further care, contributing to their successful reintegration into society and improved overall quality of life.

Local Officials Praise the Initiative

Amer Saeed Al-Amri, Undersecretary of Hadramout Governorate for Valley and Desert Affairs, praised KSrelief’s efforts. He highlighted the program’s role in rehabilitating and empowering women, noting that it helps reduce suffering among the most vulnerable groups in Yemen.

Consistent Humanitarian Support from Saudi Arabia

This initiative aligns with the ongoing humanitarian work provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief. The organization has a strong record of supporting vulnerable populations in Yemen by providing health, social, and emergency aid to ensure that essential services reach those in need.

Positive Impact on Vulnerable Communities

Through this health services package, KSrelief aims to improve access to medical care, enhance public health awareness, and support the social reintegration of disadvantaged families. The program represents a key step in alleviating suffering and promoting well-being among vulnerable communities in Hadramout.

KSrelief’s Continued Commitment

By launching this initiative, KSrelief demonstrates its ongoing commitment to humanitarian support in Yemen. Through health services, education, and specialized care, the center continues to make a positive difference in the lives of women, children, and their families, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s dedication to global humanitarian efforts.
