Hatta Festival 2025 Showcases Local Dubai Brands

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The #HattaWinter initiative, spearheaded by Brand Dubai—part of the Government of Dubai Media Office—has revealed a strong turnout from local entrepreneurs at the upcoming Hatta Festival 2025. This year, over 30 businesses from the 'Proudly from Dubai' network will exhibit their products, highlighting the city's thriving local market.

Scheduled from December 5, 2025, to January 20, 2026, as part of the larger Dubai Destinations campaign, the Hatta Festival aims to celebrate locally manufactured goods, unique experiences, and innovative ideas that resonate with the Emirati culture. The event is expected to provide attendees with a rich cultural and recreational experience.

The heightened participation this year is designed to build on the achievements of previous festivals, showcasing Brand Dubai's commitment to boosting entrepreneurship and supporting small to medium-sized enterprises. By offering high-profile platforms at such events, Brand Dubai seeks to extend the reach of local brands and cement their presence in the market.

Amina Taher, part of the Organising Committee for the #HattaWinter Initiative, emphasized that the festival aims not just to promote Hatta as a winter tourism hub but to foster long-term economic benefits by allowing small enterprises to present high-quality goods to a wide audience. This aligns with Dubai's mission to cultivate emerging businesses and broaden opportunities for local ventures.

Taher also highlighted that Dubai provides a nurturing ecosystem for innovative ideas, enabling local initiatives to evolve into globally recognized brands. The substantial visitor attendance since the festival's kickoff on December 5 demonstrates increasing consumer confidence and a rising demand for home-grown products.

Khawla Al Hashmi, another key figure on the organising committee, pointed out that the festival serves as a vital stage for budding entrepreneurs to present their creativity to thousands of attendees from both the UAE and beyond. She noted the event significantly contributes to bolstering Hatta's economy, further establishing it as a prominent tourist destination.

Al Hashmi added that the festival provides members of the 'Proudly from Dubai' network the opportunity to unveil innovative products to an extensive audience, facilitating the growth of local entrepreneurs while highlighting creative projects in one of the UAE's prime winter locations. Brand Dubai remains committed to drawing new initiatives each year while fostering an environment conducive to sustainable growth.

For the 2025 edition, the festival features the 'Hatta Little Trader' initiative, offering children a platform to display their entrepreneurial skills alongside local artists. Participants include Latifa Salem Al Bedwawi, Reem Wajood Al Dahmani, and Khalifa Nasser Al Kaabi, along with contributions from local artist Hamid Al Bloushi.

To enhance the visitor experience, various mobile food trucks will be stationed around Leem Lake, serving a diverse selection of creative snacks and beverages. Hatta Festival has become a key seasonal event, attracting thousands to indulge in winter activities and explore offerings from the 'Proudly from Dubai' initiative.

The #HattaWinter initiative is a collaborative effort between Brand Dubai and several governmental entities, including the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, and Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, among others.

These initiatives highlight Dubai's dedication to bolstering the creative economy while positioning Hatta as a family-friendly locale that merges nature, adventure, and local heritage.
