Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali Confirm Separation with Focus on Co-Parenting

Post by : Meena Hassan

Television stars Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali have made the decision to separate, effectively ending their 14-year marriage. They released a joint statement on social media requesting privacy while confirming their choice was amicable and devoid of resentment.

In their announcement, Mahhi and Jay emphasized that there is no blame or negativity associated with their decision. They portrayed their choice as a means for personal growth and emotional health, reaffirming that respect and kindness will continue to characterize their relationship.

This announcement follows months of speculation regarding their marriage. After the news broke, Mahhi's Instagram Stories sparked chatter, with many interpreting her posts as indirect messages aimed at Jay. These posts addressed themes such as kindness and gratitude towards those caring for her children, igniting discussions online.

Mahhi swiftly countered these assumptions, sharing a picture with Jay and condemning the narrative being spun around her posts. She clarified that her reflections were not directed at her ex-husband and criticized certain media outlets for misinterpreting her comments to attract attention.

The couple reassured that their children remain their utmost priority. Despite their decision to part ways, Mahhi and Jay pledged to co-parent their three kids—Tara, Khushi, and Rajveer—while fostering a caring and supportive relationship.

Married since 2011, Mahhi and Jay adopted Khushi and Rajveer in 2017 and welcomed their biological daughter Tara in 2019. On the professional front, Mahhi recently made a long-awaited return to television, while Jay continues to shine as a well-known reality show host.

Their straightforward and considerate announcement has resonated with many, standing apart in an industry often filled with controversy and speculation.
