Strengthening Ties: MBRAH Partners with UUDS AERO for New Cabin Hub

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) located in Dubai South has announced a strengthened partnership with UUDS AERO, which marks a significant milestone for the aerospace sector in Dubai.

As part of this initiative, UUDS AERO has acquired two additional Code F plots within MBRAH. Each plot is engineered to accommodate three wide-body aircraft independently, aimed at bolstering operations related to cabin completion, modifications, and retrofits. This strategic move underscores the growing demand for sophisticated aircraft interior solutions across both regional and international markets, further embedding UUDS AERO's presence in Dubai as a pivotal aerospace hub.

Additionally, MBRAH is set to establish a 40,000-square-metre Cabin Excellence Center in its Airline Manufacturing and Supply Chain Zone. This first-of-its-kind facility in the region is intended to focus on elite cabin engineering, manufacturing, and innovation. Upon its launch, it is expected to significantly enhance Dubai's status as a global nexus for aircraft cabin design and completions.

According to Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, this enhanced partnership supports Dubai’s extensive aviation strategy. He emphasized that the Cabin Excellence Center symbolizes a notable advancement, contributing new industrial capabilities and fostering ecosystems for engineering, manufacturing, and cabin innovation throughout the emirate. Saif reiterated MBRAH's commitment to providing a premier platform for global aerospace enterprises to expand and thrive.

Gilles Negre, the Founder and Chairman of UUDS AERO, stated that this expansion is set to greatly augment the company's operational potential. He noted that the new facilities and center will facilitate UUDS AERO in delivering advanced cabin solutions more effectively. Negre commended Dubai South for its cohesive infrastructure and strategic vision, proclaiming it as the perfect setting for aerospace innovation.

UUDS AERO functions as a fully integrated center for aircraft cabin completion and modifications, holding essential certifications from both the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). Their range of services includes design, certification, manufacturing, maintenance, and the crafting of eco-friendly aviation solutions.

MBRAH continues to attract top global airlines, private jet operators, MRO vendors, and aerospace manufacturers. As a free-zone location within Dubai South, it also accommodates maintenance facilities, training centers, and educational institutions, reinforcing Dubai's aspiration to become one of the leading players in the global aviation and aerospace landscape.
