Melinda Gates Breaks Silence on New Epstein File Claims

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Melinda French Gates has reacted to the latest claims made in the newly released Jeffrey Epstein files. The documents include allegations involving her ex-husband, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.

Speaking during a podcast interview with NPR, Melinda said it is personally difficult whenever new details related to Epstein come out. She explained that such revelations bring back memories of painful moments from her marriage.

“For me, it’s personally hard whenever those details come up,” she said, adding that she believes Bill Gates and others named in the documents should be the ones answering for the alleged actions.

“They need to answer to those things, not me,” she said.

Melinda also described the situation as deeply sad. She said the revelations caused her “unbelievable sadness” and shared that she left her marriage because she felt she had to.

She also said she was able to move forward with her life and expressed hope that the women involved—who were reportedly underage when Epstein was active—will get justice.

Meanwhile, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk shared a clip of her interview on X, writing just one word: “wow”.

What the Epstein Files Claim About Bill Gates

The latest batch of documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein, released by the US Justice Department, includes multiple draft emails allegedly written in July 2013.

In these emails, Epstein claimed that Bill Gates asked an adviser to arrange antibiotics to treat an STD, which Epstein claimed was the result of “sex with Russian girls.”

One email, written in the voice of Boris Nikolic, described Epstein’s alleged involvement in helping Gates get medication and also mentioned claims about facilitating meetings with married women.

Another draft email accused Bill Gates of asking Epstein to delete emails about the alleged STD and also claimed Gates wanted to secretly give medicines to Melinda.

Bill Gates Denies All Allegations

Bill Gates has denied the claims mentioned in the documents. A spokesperson called the allegations “absolutely absurd and completely false.”

According to reports cited by NPR and the Daily Mail, the spokesperson said the documents only show Epstein’s frustration and claimed Epstein was trying to entrap and defame Gates.

Bill Gates has previously stated that his interactions with Epstein were limited and connected only to philanthropic discussions.

The newly released documents reportedly contain at least seven draft emails dated between July 17 and July 18, 2013.
