In the second week of May, several exciting films and web series are set to launch for OTT audiences in India. From high-octane action to riveting crime thrillers and heartfelt tales, an array of eagerly awaited titles will be streaming between May 12 and May 17. Notable stars like Ranveer Singh, Saif Ali Khan, and Randeep Hooda headline this week's top releases, enticing many viewers who prefer watching from home.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge Launches on OTT

Among the most anticipated releases is Dhurandhar: The Revenge, popularly referred to as “Dhurandhar 2.” This action-packed spy thriller showcases Ranveer Singh in the lead and is directed by Aditya Dhar. After a successful theatrical run, it will premiere on JioHotstar on May 15.

The plot centers around a secret Indian agent navigating perilous missions linked to terrorism and organized crime. Featuring grand action sequences, emotional depth, and patriotic undertones, the film also includes R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles. Anticipation is high among fans for its streaming debut after its theatrical triumph.

Kartavya Explores the Depth of Crime Drama

Moreover, the emotional crime drama Kartavya is arriving this week. Starring Saif Ali Khan as a conflicted police officer caught between duty and family, the film is produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner. Fans can catch it on Netflix starting May 15.

The trailer has generated significant buzz, noted for its poignant narrative and serious tone. Saif portrays a dedicated officer who also honors Lord Mahadev, facing morally complex decisions in his quest to protect his family. Rasika Dugal and veteran Sanjay Mishra both support in important roles, with many believing this could emerge as one of the year's standout crime dramas.

Inspector Avinash Season 2 Makes A Comeback

Crime-thriller enthusiasts can also look forward to the return of Inspector Avinash Season 2, which is poised to make a comeback after a prolonged hiatus. The series stars Randeep Hooda as police officer Avinash Mishra, who confronts dangerous criminals in Uttar Pradesh. Netflix is launching a gripping true-crime documentary titled “The Crash,” which chronicles a harrowing incident from Ohio in 2022. The documentary covers the case of a teenage girl who purposefully collided her car into a building at high speed, tragically resulting in the deaths of two boys.
