NFL Sunday Showdown: Bills, Packers and Rams Shine Bright

Post by : Meena Hassan

In a stunning fourth-quarter turnaround, Christian Benford returned an interception for a touchdown, aiding the Buffalo Bills in overcoming a 10-point deficit to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 39-34 amid snowy conditions. This pivotal 63-yard pick-six marked Buffalo's first lead, followed by a decisive touchdown pass from Josh Allen, who wrapped up the game with 251 passing yards, three touchdowns, and 78 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, the Texans clinched a 20-10 victory over the Chiefs thanks to Dare Ogunbowale's late touchdown. Patrick Mahomes faced challenges, completing merely 42% of his throws and throwing three interceptions, halting Kansas City’s AFC West dominance.

Aaron Rodgers played through a wrist injury to lead the Steelers to a narrow 27-22 win against Baltimore. With contributions from Kenneth Gainwell and Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh sealed the game. Although Lamar Jackson threw for 219 yards, the Ravens couldn't seize critical late opportunities.

Green Bay secured a 28-21 victory over Chicago, with Jordan Love throwing three TD passes and Keisean Nixon intercepting Caleb Williams in a nail-biting finish. Key scores from Josh Jacobs and Christian Watson bolstered the Packers' win.

The Los Angeles Rams dominated Arizona 45-17, powered by Matthew Stafford’s impressive 281 yards and three touchdowns. Both Puka Nacua and Blake Corum contributed multiple scores, continuing the Cardinals’ unfortunate losing streak.

In other highlights, Seattle overwhelmed Atlanta 37-9, thanks to three touchdowns from Sam Darnold and a spectacular 100-yard kickoff return by Rashid Shaheed. Tennessee ended a seven-game slump with a close 31-29 triumph over Cleveland, driven by Tony Pollard’s two rushing touchdowns.

Minnesota secured a shutout victory against Washington 31-0, and Jacksonville bested Indianapolis 36-19. Miami dominated the Jets 34-10, while New Orleans edged Tampa Bay 24-20. Denver extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 24-17 win over Las Vegas.

This Sunday, NFL fans witnessed remarkable scoring bursts, clutch performances, and shifting playoff scenarios, reshaping the league’s standings.
