Pianist Eva Gevorgyan performed a selection of classical music compositions by some of the world's most celebrated composers. The programme included masterpieces by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Frédéric Chopin, Maurice Ravel and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, offering audiences an opportunity to experience internationally recognised classical works.
Eva Gevorgyan is an award-winning pianist who has participated in more than 40 international music competitions. The musical programme was organised in cooperation with Insignias, a Russian information technology consulting company. The collaboration supported the museum's efforts to expand its cultural activities and create opportunities for artistic exchange through international musical performances.
The second season follows the success of the National Museum's first musical season, which featured nine musical evenings. Through these programmes, the museum continues to provide a platform for classical music, cultural engagement and artistic experiences for audiences in Oman.
The two evenings reflect the National Museum's continued efforts to enrich Oman's cultural landscape and encourage international artistic connections. By bringing internationally recognised musicians to Muscat, the museum is contributing to the development of cultural activities and providing audiences with opportunities to engage with classical music traditions from around the world.
