Parmeet Sethi Highlights the Profitable Side of Archana Puran Singh's Vlogs

Post by : Meena Hassan

YouTube family vlogs by Archana Puran Singh, entitled AAAP Ka Parivaar, have attracted a substantial following. Featured alongside Archana are her husband, actor Parmeet Sethi, their sons Aayushmann and Aaryamann, and Aaryamann's fiancée, Yogita Bihani, who regularly appear in the videos.

In a recent interview, Parmeet Sethi elaborated on the financial prospects of vlogging as a primary career. He shared that the family could potentially earn “at least three times more than our combined film and television income” if they took it on full-time. He added, “You're putting your entire life on display – and that's not for everyone. One must be shameless, careless, and fearless. Public responses can impact you. We view YouTube as a life insurance policy; it provides ongoing income.”

Sethi also pointed out the upsides and downsides of vlogging. It grants them complete freedom to express themselves and be authentic, but simultaneously exposes their private lives to public judgment and trolling.

On a personal note, Parmeet opened up about their initial years of marriage. He mentioned that they chose to keep their relationship a secret, as married actresses often struggled to find work. He said, “This was long before DDLJ. We didn’t go public with our marriage because wives in the industry rarely got roles. It was only when Archana was expecting Aaryamann that we revealed our marriage.” Although the industry was aware of their relationship, the official announcement came with Archana's pregnancy.
