Prabhas' Fauzi Unveils First Look on His 46th Birthday

Post by : Meena Hassan

On the occasion of Prabhas’ 46th birthday, fans were treated to the first official glimpse of his next film, Fauzi. The highly anticipated period drama, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, released its teaser poster on 23 October, quickly drawing attention from audiences.

The teaser presents an intense close-up of Prabhas, surrounded by visuals of weaponry and the British-era flag, indicating a dramatic pre-Independence narrative filled with action.

About Fauzi

In this film, Prabhas portrays a courageous soldier or revolutionary set against the backdrop of 1940s British India. Renowned actors Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada take on vital supporting roles, while newcomer Imanvi stars as the leading lady. The film’s music is orchestrated by Vishal Chandrasekhar, with noted cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao enhancing its visual appeal.

Filming locations include Madurai and other expansive settings, featuring intricate sets and authentic period designs, aiming to merge war, patriotism, and action into a spectacular drama. Although a release date is yet to be confirmed, Fauzi is anticipated to hit theatres in 2026, likely around Independence Day celebrations.

Prabhas' Future Projects

Prabhas recently appeared in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD and made a cameo in Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa, alongside stars like Akshay Kumar and Mohan Lal. He will also feature in Baahubali: The Epic, a remastered version of the original two-part epic, set for release on 31 October. Following that, his film Raja Saab is slated for release on 9 January next year.
