Fans Question Authenticity After Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Seen Kissing in Central Park

Post by : Meena Hassan

A video showing Sydney Sweeney and music executive Scooter Braun in a seemingly affectionate moment in New York’s Central Park has gone viral, but reactions have been mixed. The pair were captured sitting on a rock and sharing a kiss; reports indicate the two began seeing each other in September.

In the clip, the couple chat briefly before leaning in for a kiss. Social media users reacted with suspicion, many suggesting the scene appeared rehearsed or contrived. Responses included remarks such as “Looks staged — so unnatural,” “Very performative,” and “Staged much?” Some commenters even speculated the interaction could be orchestrated for publicity.

Observers also drew attention to Braun’s past controversies, including his well-publicised disputes with singer Taylor Swift, questioning the pair’s compatibility. One user remarked that he would likely not be invited to Swift’s private events.

Scooter Braun, 44, is a music industry figure and father of three from a previous marriage. Sources say the two first crossed paths at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice in June. Since then, they reportedly spent Labor Day weekend together at a lake in California, enjoyed a date night in Los Angeles later that month, and Braun attended Sweeney’s birthday. Insiders told reporters the relationship was in full swing by the end of September.

As viewers continue to debate the authenticity of the footage online, it remains unclear how serious the relationship is, though the clip continues to generate discussion across social platforms.
