The “Run for the Nation” attracted over 25,000 participants from around the UAE, highlighting the community's strong sense of unity, inclusivity, and commitment to social responsibility.
The event commenced with a breathtaking aerial performance by the Fursan Al Emarat, illuminating the sky with the colors of the UAE flag. This powerful opening act exuded national pride and set a motivating tone for the race.
Starting from Wahat Al Karama, a significant national site, and concluding at Erth Abu Dhabi, the route represented a unifying message about the collective responsibility of safeguarding the nation through awareness.
Participants spanned all demographics, including senior citizens, People of Determination, youth, families, and athletes, showcasing the inclusive spirit of UAE society and its dedication to national initiatives.
Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi praised the turnout, stating it reflects the community’s high awareness and profound connection to their country. He stressed that initiatives like this foster a culture of readiness, unity, and active participation.
After the race, families convened at a community village at Erth Abu Dhabi, featuring entertainment, activities, and programs aimed at fostering social interaction in a family-friendly setting.
The event was orchestrated by the Zayed Charity Run Higher Organizing Committee in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, receiving support from various sponsors, including International Golden Group, Aldar, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Burjeel Holdings, and the Arabian Radio Network.
The remarkable turnout at the Run for the Nation emphasizes its significance as a premier national initiative, continuing to unite people, encourage healthy living, and uphold Abu Dhabi’s vision of a connected and active society.
