Comprehensive Safety Initiative Unveiled for Liwa Festival 2026

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The Liwa International Festival 2026 Organising Committee has kicked off a major safety awareness campaign in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, highlighting their dedication to ensuring visitor safety and smooth operations throughout the festival.

This initiative aims to enhance public awareness, improve emergency readiness, and guarantee a safe environment for all attendees, participants, and staff during the festival. Organizers emphasized that this proactive strategy prioritizes crowd safety, especially during events that draw large crowds.

The program features clear guidelines on essential safety protocols, emergency responses, and available support services throughout the festival grounds. Designated response teams from the collaborating agencies will be present to manage incidents promptly and provide immediate assistance when necessary.

A standout aspect of the initiative is the distribution of safety helmets to participants, promoting responsible participation and minimizing injury risks during festival activities. Officials noted that this measure emphasizes the critical role of personal safety gear in bolstering event security.

The safety initiative also encompasses educational signage, active engagement with attendees, and information regarding access points, medical facilities, and support services.

Organizers highlighted that the partnership between security, emergency services, and humanitarian organizations sets a strong precedent for event safety, ensuring that Liwa International Festival 2026 provides a safe, enjoyable, and well-coordinated experience for all involved.
