The Rolling Stones Set to Release New Album 'Foreign Tongues'

Post by : Shakul

The Rolling Stones have excited fans by announcing their new studio album titled “Foreign Tongues,” set to drop on July 10. The iconic British rock band unveiled the news during a promotional event in New York City, evoking enthusiasm among their global fan base that has remained strong since the group’s inception.

This forthcoming album will be the band's 25th installment, arriving just under three years after the successful release of “Hackney Diamonds.” The previous album achieved remarkable success, topping charts internationally and garnering positive reviews from critics. “Hackney Diamonds” was especially significant as it marked the musicians' first original work in almost 18 years, underscoring the excitement surrounding the latest announcement for rock enthusiasts.

At the promotional gathering, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood shared insights about the new project, giving fans a taste of several tracks. Social media buzzed with a video showing the legendary trio working together in the studio, illuminating their ongoing love for music despite their years.

Alongside the album announcement, a new single titled “In The Stars” was also released. Fans quickly took to the internet, praising the band's signature rock sound while noting its fresh energy. Observers in the music industry attributed the excitement to the band's remarkable influence that transcends generations.

During the event, hosted by comedian Conan O'Brien, Mick Jagger humorously discussed the experience of creating music at 82, affirming the band’s unwavering dedication and teamwork. He even light-heartedly addressed concerns about his vocal health when O'Brien complimented his exceptional singing voice.

A notable highlight of “Foreign Tongues” is the anticipated collaborations with Paul McCartney and Robert Smith. McCartney, renowned as a beatle, and Smith, the voice behind The Cure, are expected to add their talents to select tracks, marking a historic collaboration among some of Britain’s most significant rock icons.

Despite the fervor surrounding the new album, no world tour was mentioned during the event. Although discussions about touring reportedly took place, concerns about age-related health risks led to its dismissal. Enthusiasts had anticipated a live concert series following this new release.

Whispers regarding the album began circulating last month when the band discreetly released a limited edition vinyl single under the pseudonym “The Cockroaches.” This track, titled “Rough And Twisted,” was exclusively available at select UK record stores; fans quickly connected its price of £10.07 with the upcoming album’s release date.

Remaining one of the most influential rock bands in history, The Rolling Stones have sustained their global appeal for over six decades. With the announcement of “Foreign Tongues,” the band continues to showcase their legacy while captivating audiences of all ages.
