Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha met with Tekedra Mawakana, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Waymo, during a visit to the United States. The meeting is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to collaborate with leading global technology companies to develop smart mobility systems and autonomous driving technologies.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to work together to advance future transport technologies. These include autonomous driving, smart traffic management, and intelligent transport solutions designed to improve the efficiency and safety of urban mobility.
The discussions focused on supporting innovation in transportation through collaboration with companies like Waymo, which is recognized globally for its leadership in self-driving technology.
