Saudi FM Meets Prince Turki to Strengthen Cultural Dialogue

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met in Riyadh with Prince Turki bin Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, along with members of the Oxford Centre’s board. The meeting reflected the Kingdom’s strong focus on cultural and intellectual cooperation at both local and international levels.

During the discussions, the two sides reviewed existing and future areas of cooperation in intellectual and cultural initiatives. These efforts aim to build stronger understanding between different cultures and communities through dialogue, shared knowledge, and academic exchange.

The meeting also focused on promoting values such as tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and mutual respect. Both parties stressed the importance of encouraging open conversations that help bridge differences and support harmony among societies.

In addition, the talks highlighted joint efforts to support moderation and balanced thinking. These initiatives align with Saudi Arabia’s broader vision to promote constructive engagement, cultural awareness, and intellectual development, contributing to a more understanding and cooperative global environment.
