During an official visit to Accra, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji met with Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations across multiple fields, reviewing regional developments, and addressing international issues of common interest.
Elkhereiji and Ablakwa co-chaired the first round of the political consultations committee between the two foreign ministries. During the session, both sides explored avenues for political cooperation and discussed ways to intensify multilateral coordination on international matters. The consultations reflected a shared commitment to fostering strong diplomatic relations and mutual understanding.
As part of the visit, the two ministers signed a general cooperation agreement between Saudi Arabia and Ghana.
